My goal was to create a network and a journal in festival culture. Not only am I responsible for organising symposiums annually, but also designing and maintaining the journal's website. Besides designing the journal, I publish it annually. Among its main aims, Festival Culture Research and Education examines, expands, and articulates current approaches within the field; examining the importance of festivals in all their forms.
I aim to find groundbreaking ways of interrogating ideas about (but not limited to): academic journal design, how sensory experiences are communicated through print and digital media, and how the journal complements our online presence.
